Spirit Flier Here is an amazing kite for general flying or special events like memorial flies or night shows. Made by Martin Lester of England, the Spirit dances in the breeze with long, 20 foot extremities trailing behind. He (or she) definitely makes an impression. Priced at $350. each Spirit is imported from England. They are a bit hard to get. But we have several in stock.

Just in from Hank Manseau: Spirit is probably the best-flying inflatable I have ever had the pleasure of flying. I typically fly it on 80# line and it is an incredibly graceful and efficient kite with a very good lift to drag ratio. I find that it flies extremely well from 7-8 mph to 20 mph. Beyond that range it becomes unstable. The bottom line is... this is a GREAT kite!

Scuba Diver It's the flying scuba diver -- complete with wetsuit, flippers and tank--pursued by a shark drogue that also doubles as a bag. It's really amazing that he flies at all! Defective Crown: Why would you want to buy a defective kite?? Well, mostly because it isn’t completely defective. The black fabric along the leading edge has been tearing under stress and we think it needs to be replaced. But the rest of the piece seems just fine. Colors are red/gold/white/red/green – a combination we call the Chinese Rainbow. (Click here to see a similar piece in the same colors). This would be an interesting winter project for a kiter with modest sewing experience. List price on a full-size Crown is $1100. But we’ll sell this one for $500.
